Haven't Slept a Wink
In the September 17, 2007 issue of Newsweek,
there is an article titled "Homeroom Zombies" which details the amount
of sleep each night we currently believe to be necessary for
optimal health and cognitive functioning. The article reports
that "teens need at least nine hours of sleep a night, though few get
that much". While the entire article
makes interesting
reading, below I've included their table for the recommended
hours of sleep, according to age. How are you doing?
